He is survived by: his children, Cathy Martin (Harvey) of Medicine Hat, AB, Christine Nelson (Steve) of Calgary, AB, Allan Yanke (Brenda) of Shaunavon, SK, Robert Yanke (Anita) of Pincher Creek, AB and Bill Yanke of Calgary, AB. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; as well as many great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
