She was predeceased by: her husband Alexander Batsel; and her parents, Wilhelm Lachenmaier and Maria Lachenmaier. She is survived by: her children, Vic Batsel (Sharon), Hilda Leonovich (Roy), Vera Berrie (Dan) and Waldy Batsel (Oi); her grandchildren, Kevin (Janeth), Kyle, Angie (Kelvin), Michael (Jenna), Derrick (Amanda), Dillon (Sierra), Celina (Teagan) and Jason (Casey); and her great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Hazel, Silas, Ivy, Arya, Hudson and Dekker.

Rather than gifts of flowers, family suggest those wishing to remember Leontina do so through a donation to the charity of their choice.
