He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Jans. He is survived by: his wife Marcy Jans of Medicine Hat; his daughters, Lisa Whenham of Medicine Hat and Carrie-Lyn Finlay (Lorne) of Medicine Hat; his grandchildren, Joey McConnell, April Dyck, Ryan Whenham and Cameron Finlay; his great grandchildren, Addison, Akaisa, Taven and Ryker; and his sister Delores Bischke (Donald).
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
