She was predeceased by: her husband Alan Genert; her son-in-law Tim Irwin; her parents, Ted Roll and Frede Roll; her sister Shirley Tucker; and also, Christof, Margaret Genert and Bryan Hiebert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lorrie Irwin, Jenny Gyorkos (Dennis), Pam Haddock (Darren White) and Kathy Taylor (Terry); her sisters, Marilyn Hiebert and Sharon Fortin (Emery); and her siblings-in-law, Clyde Tucker, Norma Genert, Irene Genert and Esther Lazzari. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
