He was predeceased by: his parents, Trygve Gleddie and Hedvig Gleddie. He is survived by: his brothers, Trevor and Cyril; his daughters, Melissa Steeves (Jerry), Vanessa Kurtzweg and Felicia Bloem (Sebastian); and his grandchildren, Bryce Steeves (Jackie), Ashley Bateman (Eric), Chad Steeves (Julie), Caitlyn Aitken (Tim), Colton Kurtzweg (Jaelynn) and Karina Kurtzweg.
