She was predeceased by: her husband Emil Bechal; her parents, Adam Rieder and Rosie Rieder; her daughter Diann Simpson; and her brother Leo Rieder (Mary).
She is survived by: her children, Norman Hammel (Lily), Carol Schiebelbein (Dan), Richard Hammel (Jackie), Leonard Hammel (Janice), Glen Hammel (Brenda) and Shirley Wagner (Larry); and her niece Wanda Rieder. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
