She was predeceased by: her husband Rick Bene; and her father-in-law Peter Bene. She is survived by: her daughters, Tonia Hansen (Soren) and Michelle Bene (Scott Lewry); her grandchildren, Richard, David, Wynter, Brayden, Ethan, Lucas, Cohen and Averie; her parents, Ludwig Schwarz and Collene Schwarz; her siblings, Ron Schwarz (Laurie), Norm Schwarz, Carrie Kinahan (Pat), Todd Bene (Marnee) and Tamie Bene; Sharon Bene. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions in place, the service honouring Marianne's life will be by invitation only.
