She was predeceased by: her husband Lyn Jans; her parents, Arie Stigter and Maria Stigter; her siblings, Lane and Ria; and her sister-in-law Florence Stigter.

She is survived by: her siblings, Casey Stigter (Jenny), Audrey Hazelaar, Harry Stigter (Dianne) and Peter Stigter; and her siblings-in-law, Vi Rieger, Fran Crane, Alice Stigter and Wally Jans (Pam). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Martha's Life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Martha's name may be made directly to the Gideons International In Canada, P.O.
