Ming Wong Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ming Wong of Medicine Hat, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ming Wong to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kai Yin and Sui Lung Wong; his cousin Grant Wong; his in-law Keith Graves (Rita); and his brother-in-law Eric Graves.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Breanna and Matthew Wong (Sydney); his siblings, Betty Wong, Ken Wong (Lindy), Oi Batsel (Waldy), Sai Wong (Darcee) and Carol McDermid (Tim); his siblings' children, Nathan Beck (Alli), Nicole Coburn (Austin), Jessica Wong (Chris Tully), Mikaela Wong (Austin Dulle), Dillon Batsel (Sierra Zukowski), Jason Batsel (Casey Lawrence), Celina Batsel (Teagan Wishart) and Jordon Wong (Randal); his siblings' children, Kaitlin Smith (Dallas), Alexander McDermid (Kelly Hu) and Cameron McDermid (Kassi); his cousins, Vince Wong (Joan), Lawton Wong (Robin) and Rita Pon (Ed); Colter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Victory Lutheran Church (2793 Southview Dr SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1B2H1). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ming's memory may be made to the Victory Lutheran Memorial Fund or the charity of your choice.
