We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Monica Schlaht of Medicine Hat, Alberta, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her stepson Chris Schlaht; her parents, Hans Leupold and Martha Leupold; her parents-in-law, Christian and Amanda Schlaht; and her pet Zoe.

She is survived by: her husband Rudy Schlaht; her children, Justin Schlaht (Catherine Kohls) and Jenna Vossler (Dustin); her grandchildren, Haley Schlaht, Kenize Schlaht and Jade Penney; her brother Peter Leupold (Jody); her sibling's children, Dominic Leupold (Claire) and Desirae Kinahan (Brandon); her sister-in-law Irene Plotsky (Dale); and her sibling's children, Derek Plotsky (Jenny) and Kyle Plotsky (Hannah). She is also survived by close friends, many cats, fish and birds.

Your kind and caring spirit will always be caried in our hearts. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Monday, June 28th from 6:00 - 8:00 p. m. (Masks are mandatory) Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 10:30 a. m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend.
