He was predeceased by : his sister Rhonda; and his pet Missy. He is survived by : his wife Amanda; his children, Jordan and Melodie; his parents, Richard Mellafont and Judie Riehl (Bob); his siblings, Leonard, Dannette, Ginger and Brad; and his close friends, Zeus, Shiloh and Phillip. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins as well as his beloved dogs.
