It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Walter Schnieder of Medicine Hat, Alberta, born in Brooks, Alberta, who passed away on March 4, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Dench (Jack); his brother Don Schnieder; his stepmother Francie Schnieder; and his parents-in-law, John Wittig (Esther) and Mary Fruit (Paul).

He is survived by: his son Jason; his wife Patty; his daughter Stephanie Hauck (Mike); his grandsons, Brandon and Zachery Hauck; his father Walter Schnieder; his sister Bev Tedford; his half-brother Cory Schnieder (Jane); his siblings-in-law, Rod Wittig (Jan), Eric Wittig (Kathleen) and Sharon Dyck (Paul); and his close friends, Bob and Arlene Utsurogi. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
