He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sadlemyer and Sylvia Sadlemyer (North); his wife Marlene (Immel); his sister Donna Byers (Don); and his siblings-in-law, Don Byers, Brian Gooding, Jim Pudwell, Don Erhman, Rose Pudwell and Marjorie Eslingler.

He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Saufert (Ed) and Rhonda Sadlemyer (Mike); and his grandchildren, Jessaca Drury (Kyle), William Drury (Leah), Daniel Drury, Emily Drury (Jordan), Katelynn Saufert (Grayden), Dylan Saufert, Sheena Saufert (Clint), Rylee and Sasha Saufert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In memory of Richard, affectionately known as Dick, donations may be made to your local Humane Society or animal shelter in honor of his deep love for all of God's creatures.

“Uncle Dick was the type of Uncle everyone would love to have. He always treated us nephews and nieces so well by laughing with us and making us feel so comfortable around him. Our time together was limited to family gatherings which was usually on a yearly basis however his easy going personality made those times seem like we were around him all the time.
