Robert Monkman Obituary
In loving memory of Robert Monkman (Medicine Hat, Alberta), who departed this world on July 18, 2025 at the age of 80. Robert leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Monkman and Rena Monkman; his siblings, Doris Kornelson (Ed) and George Mercer; his sisters-in-law, Audrey Monkman and Bev Barkley (Miles); and his parents-in-law, Walter and Gloria Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Monkman of Buffalo; his children, Dale Monkman, Lisa Sulz (Gord) and Debra Schneider (Chris); his grandchildren, Quinn, Kip, Coy Schneider and Olivia Sulz; his brother Jack Monkman; and his brother-in-law Chris Olson (Michele).
A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hillside Cemetery (1280 10 Ave SW, Medicine Hat, AB T1A0C7). A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Buffalo Community Hall.
Interment will take place at 10:30 a.m. Those who wish to attend, please meet at the Hillside Cemetery gates at 10:15 a.m. Those who wish to remember Bob with a donation, may do so to the Buffalo Fire Club or to the charity of your choice.
