He was predeceased by: his parents, Winnie and Lenard; his stepmother Joan (MacRae); and his sister Susan MacRae. He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Bouwman of Niagara Falls, ON, Bruce MacRae and Robert MacRae; and his cousin Ethel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Saamis Memorial (1 Dunmore Rd SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A1Z5).
