He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Sutherland and Marguerite Sutherland; his mother-in-law Clara Anhelher; and his siblings, Glen Sutherland and Darlene Copeland.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sutherland; his children, Percy (Roxy), Crystal and Jeremy Sutherland (Christine); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Aaryn, Kaiden, Tyrell and Christopher; his great grandchild Presley; and his sisters, Sherry Larson (Ed), Catherine Kearsley and Karen Coehoorn (Henry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
