She is survived by: her husband Julian "Barney" Barnard of Medicine Hat; her daughter Shannon Shumila (John); her stepson James Barnard; her grandchildren, Nathan, Mathew Shumila and Kaydence Beddome; her sisters, Shirley Koch (Mike) and Penny Krassman; and her siblings' children, Sherry (Phil), Yvonne Lentz (Ken) and Jason Koch.
