He was predeceased by: his son Clayton; and his parents, James and Margret. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Andrew, Amanda, Adam and Samantha; his grandchildren, Jordan, Isaac, Emilia, Shelby, Oliver, Anthony and Theodore; and his sister Linda Stickle.

“It is with great sadness that I have learned of Simon’s passing. We were both Instructors at Nav Canada teaching the national refreshers. We were a great team, he make the courses so much fun. We used to hangout on days off. Hockey games, basketball games. We played a lot of badminton. Thoughts and hugs to his family. He will be greatly missed”
