Stephen Patrick Willis Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Stephen Patrick Willis of Medicine Hat, Alberta. Stephen, born on April 3, 1953, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Willis and Ioma Willis; and his brother David Willis. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Willis; his son Daniel Willis (Ashley); his grandchildren, Alana, Caleb and Rowan; his daughter Jeanne Millar (Anthony); his grandchildren, Isaac, Zadie, Asher, Zerrick, Eli, Zayla and Owen; his sisters, Brenda Nerland (Doug) and Ann Willis Aldridge; and his nieces and nephews, Brian (Miranda), Lauren (David), Ashley (Bo), Rachel (Matt), Hannah, Mark (Katrina) and Andrew (Kerri).
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chinook Village (2801 13 Ave SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A3R1).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Stephen's honour to the Medicine Hat Astronomy Club, celebrating his lifelong fascination with the stars and the heavens above. For donation information, please contact [email protected].
