It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stewart Kennedy in Medicine Hat, Alberta, who passed away on January 27, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Stewart has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his father Lorne; and his brother Rodney. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Ryan (Lizzie), Megan (Andy) and Emma (Ahmed); his mother Iona; and his siblings, Laura (Tim) and Barry. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Presbyterian Church (504 2 St SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A0C6).
