With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Susan Costea of Medicine Hat, Alberta, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Susan left this world on April 30, 2026 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her son Les Costea; her grandson Justin Costea; her daughter-in-law Lyn Costea; and her parents, Florentina Miller and Frank J. Miller.
She is survived by: her husband George; her son Phillip; her grandchildren, Staci Olmstead (Devin) and Jordan Costea (Ashton); her great grandchildren, Dylan, Meghan, Maddyx and Maverick; her great great grandchildren, Bryton and Braven; and her siblings, Leonard Miller, Violet (late Ed Fischer) and Lena (late Nick Erseman). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Saamis Memorial (1 Dunmore Rd SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A1Z5). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Rd SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1B4V3).
