We are sad to announce that, on December 12, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Theresa Schmunk (Medicine Hat, Alberta), born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by: her husband Otto; her parents, Thomas Fitzgerald and Mary Fitzgerald; her siblings, Frank, James, Bernard Fitzgerald, Ella Bidwell, Kathleen Marchand and Eileen Fitzgerald; her daughter-in-law Susan Schmunk; and her grandson Danny Schmunk.

She is survived by: her children, Pat (Donna), Terry (Alicia), Brian, Robert (Sheila-Rae) and Mary Lou (Rod); and her brother Len. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.

“Our sincere sympathy to the Schmunk family, on the loss of your dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother. We got to know Theresa and Otto when we first came to Medicine Hat area, twenty years ago, at St Pats’ Church. They had been good friends ever since. Such warm, welcoming people! We had a lovely visit with Theresa not more than a month ago, and she lovingly made a cup of coffee for us. We will always remember Otto and Theresa with fond memories! Rest In Peace, Theresa.”
