He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dirk Hoetmer and Anna Hoetmer; his children, Alida Hoetmer (John Elliot), Pauline Hieb (Harvey), Anna (Steve Clark), Alice (David Rabb), Stan (Shirl Bosma) and Isobel Summerbell (Geo); his great grandchildren, Crystal Mamm (Scott) and Ricki-Ann; his grandchildren, Dustin Mamm (Tara), Kai, Kyle Hoetmer (Cam), Luke Froelich (Brooklyn), Crew, Jason Hoetmer (Nicole), Brooklynn, Graeham, Michael Hoetmer (Taylor), Bradley, Connor, Elliot, Tanya Froelich and Brianne Froehlich (Wayne); his great grandchildren, Pheonix and Austyn; his brothers, Case Hoetmer of Edmonton and Koen Hoetmer of Holland; his wife Annie Hoetmer; and his son Richard. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
