She was predeceased by: her husband Rudy Koppel; her son Doug Koppel; her grandson Scott Campbell; her parents, Frank Starzko and Nellie Starzko; and her siblings, Katie Bracha, Jenny Hildingson, Stanley, Peter and John Starzko.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Knievel (Dale), Sandra Campbell (Hector), Candise Koppel, Steven Koppel (Lucille) and Stanley Koppel; her grandchildren, Kris Koppel, Tyler Koppel (Krysta), Chelsey Heyworth (Ted), Lori Kindopp (Dave), Daniel Koppel (Tara), Amanda Koppel (Jay), Graeme Campbell (Miscal) and Catherine Koppel-Joosten; her great grandchildren, Aaron Kindopp, Sophie Koppel, Carter Koppel, Finley Heyworth, Cael Kindopp, Isaiah Koppel, Chloe Koppel and Claire Koppel; her siblings, Rose Safranka, Frances Starzko and Sam Starzko; and her siblings-in-law, Lorna Koppel, Duella Mallet and Vernon Koppel.
