It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ryan James Austin of Nampa, Alberta, born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandfather Emerson Austin; his great-grandparents, Merle, Leta McBurnie, Basil and Bette Casey; and his brother Jordan Hyatt.
He is survived by : his wife Krista; his stepson Parker; his son Emerson; his parents, Cindy (Bill O'Neill) and Jason McBurnie (Mandy Reynolds); his siblings, Micheal Tol (Loula Avagianou), Aidan McBurnie and Brooklyn; his stepsiblings, Cody O'Neill and Lisa O'Neill; his grandparents, Lavona Austin, Mick and Rae McBurnie; his mother-in-law Rhoda; his siblings-in-law, Jeremy, Mathew and Sydney; and his aunts and uncles, Chuck (Wendy), Mitch (Kate), Tricia (Claudio), Keri (Darryl) and Marni (Amos). He is also survived by many cousins, extended family, many many many friends.
