He was predeceased by: his parents, Olga and Karl; and his stepfather Oskar. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Olaf (Clarice), Stephanie Bloxham (Derek) and Joe (Cheryl); and his sister Hannelore Petersen (Claus). He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
