He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Nygaard and Judy Nygaard; and his brother Harvey. He is survived by: his siblings, Rick (Sadie) and Lynda Paterson (Bruce); and his nieces, Lana, Nicole, Kimberly, Kera and Joanna. He is also survived by numerous relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or Alberta Cancer Foundation.
