He is survived by : his wife MaryAnn; his children, Patti Nessler (Eckhard), Michael Trempner (Barb) and JoAnn Papirnik (Tim); his grandchildren, Wes Nessler (Tara), Mark Nessler (Elizabeth), Krista Nessler (Dallas), Elizabeth Leeb (Jared), Jeffrey Trempner (Kristin), Amanda Bristow (Steve), Julie Trempner (Rashaun), Sarah Boucher (Marc) and Karla Galenza; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Ty, Ashlyn, Isabelle, Blake, Leo, Austin, Shianne, Duncan, Issac, Charlotte, Luke, Jeremiah, Wyatt and Rylee.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or St. John's Lutheran Church of New Sarepta, AB.
