Rose Hrycun, born on January 4, 1934, passed away on August 19, 2026. Rose leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter; and her siblings, John, Nick, Fred, Mike, Anton, Bill, Pauline, Mary and Eva.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Charbonneau (Roger), Linda Ewaskow (Randy), Evelyn Fedyniak (Steven), Maxine Bos (Don), Garry Hrycun (Susan), Robert Hrycun (Sharon) and Kim Herrmann (Regan); and her sisters, Emily Ollikka and Helen Hayden. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandson.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Newbrook Community Hall (5701 50 St, Newbrook, AB T0A2P0). A burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at the TBD Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
