She was predeceased by: her husband Peter; her parents, John Demkiw and Mary Goyan; and her siblings, Victor Demkiw and Mary Sewell.

She is survived by: her sister Baba; her children, Gloria (Neil), Daniel (Beverly), Timothy (Debbie), Jeremy (Larissa) and Christine (Gordon); and her sister Vera. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private family service will be held.

In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Alberta, St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church of a charity of your choice.
