He is survived by: his sons, Karl Martens (Andrea) and Kenneth Martens (Roselyn) of Calgary, AB; his grandchildren, Jerome Martens, Kaylee Martens, Isabella Martens, Alexander Van Troyen, Edward Martens, Alice Martens and Noah Van Troyen; his mother Violet Martens of Central Butte, SK; and his siblings, David Martens (Linda) of Lake County, BC, Marvin Martens (Sandra) of Moose Jaw, SK, Leonard Martens (Sherry) of Tugaske, SK and Sharon Myette of Calgary, AB. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
