He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ray Shillings and Dorothy Lucille Shillings; his brother Gary Layne Shillings; and his son-in-law Glenn Markcum. He is survived by: his wife Denise Shillings; his daughter Tandy Markcum; his sister Gail Girouard; his stepdaughter Karie Getta; his son-in-law Mike Getta; his grandchildren, Christian Markcum and Sierra Markcum; and his pet Oliver.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Snodgrass Funeral Homes (200 Woodgate Rd, Okotoks, AB T1S1L2).
