Ronald left this world on April 28, 2026 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Barkley and Ida Barkley. He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Webster); his children, Brenda Barkley of Okotoks, Blair Barkley of Longview and Barb Musgrove (Chet) of Black Diamond; his grandchildren, Carter Musgrove and Amberly Musgrove; and his sisters, Helen (Mac Bamford) and Eileen (Les Malin). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snodgrass Funeral Homes - Okotoks (200 Woodgate Rd, Okotoks, AB T1S1L2). A burial was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Okotoks Union Cemetery (121 Big Rock Trail, Okotoks, AB T1S1Z1). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Red Deer Lake Community Hall (178136 112 St W, De Winton, AB T0L0X0).
