Shelbey May Benoit Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelbey May Benoit of Okotoks, Alberta, who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Shelbey May departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shelbey May. Though Shelbey May may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Pollard and Ida Pollard; her husband Larry Benoit; and her brothers, Murray and Bob Pollard.

She is survived by: her son Lanny Benoit (Lori-Anne); and her grandsons, John Aidan, Grayson and Cade.

Shelbey's family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Canadian Alzheimer Society.
