He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Funkhouser; and his siblings, Gene Jones Todd and Jim Funkhouser. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ben (Courtenay), Ava, Elijah (Megan), Olivia, Jason, Lauren, Sidney and Emily; his wife Carole; and his children, Chris (Dionne), Randy (Cynthia) and Jody (Doug).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Olds Health Care Fundraising Committee.
