She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Thurn and Pauline Thurn; her husband Jack Cruickshank; her children, Wayne Cruikshank (Phyllis), Celia (Randy Gaudet), Jacquelin Latimer (Gary) and James "Jim" Cruikshank (Cecile); her grandchildren, Nadene (Cam), Lisa (Rick), Lana (John), Kevin, Michael (Kajal), Richard (Kelly), Jeff (Danielle), Sara (Dusty Howell), Jack (Chantel) and Bradley (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Ava, Ainsley, Georga, Jude, Tyson, Luke, Jack, Nick, Lauren, Louis, Ella, Mya, Gordon, Lilly, Sadee, Reed and Bennett; and her brother-in-law Stuart Cruikshank (Lorna) of La Chaux. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Olds Hospital Long Care.
