It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert McLachlan in Olds, Alberta, born in Lamont, Alberta, who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Renee Casler (McLachlan); his parents, Edna McLachlan and William McLachlan; and his sister Eleanor McLachlan. He is survived by: his wife Heidi McLachlan; his children, Wendy, Chilton Suton, Tynsel, Dion Dunkley (Merlissa), Robert McLachlan, Marc Casler (Frank), George, Carolyn Ferraby (Makenna), Greg and Krista Ferraby (Jarred); his brother Gordon McLachlan; and his sister-in-law Mae McLachlan. He is also survived by his family, friends.
