She was predeceased by : her parents, Freda Bay and Karl Bay; and her sister Hilda. She is survived by : her brother Fred; her children, Joyce, Orval, Louise and Michelle (John); her husband Donald Paton; her son Lyle Paton (Debbie); her grandchildren, Melonie (Jason), Amanda (Trevor), Kristy (Matthew) and Jennifer; and her great grandchildren, Sam, Charles, Izzabelle, Hayden and Gunner.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or to S.T.A.R.S. Air Ambulance.
