She was predeceased by : her husband Darwin. She is survived by : her brothers, Marvin and Harold Ross; her sister-in-law Brenda O'Dell (Cy); her nieces and nephews, Ben Ross, Bonnie Way, Luke Ross and Alyssa O'Dell; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Nicole, Briget, Jaclyn, Louise and Dennis.

Due to Covid-19 regulations, a service may be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Olds Hospital & Care Centre.

Helen McIver wrote a sympathy message

“So sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. Frazer Smith and I (Helen) had many happy weekends with Darwin and Sandy skiing in Jasper and at their lodge in Panorama. Frazer worked with Darwin and has fond memories of their working days. So very sorry for both their passing. I spoke to Sandy a while back and she was distraught. I guess now they are together again. So tragic!!”
