While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Moonen and Rosie Moonen. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Steinke; her sons, Rob (Edmonton), Dale (Athabasca) and Larry (Lethbridge); Darla and Tracey. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (189 Robb Rd, Hinton, AB T7V2E5). When Covid hit at that time, she was stuck in limbo at the hospital for nearly a year and a half because no facilities were taking new patients.
