He was predeceased by : his parents, Cornelius and Geertje of Boon; and his brothers, Henry, Ben and Arie.
He is survived by : his wife Jentien; and his children, Ron (Susan Kennedy), Doug (Gloria Andrews), Gloria and Mike (Lana Nelson). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
