He was predeceased by : his brother Bruce Melvin; his parents, Clara and Harold; his son Shane; his wife Leda; and his close friend Kathy.
He is survived by : his sister Joanne (Lemke); his daughters, Shawna, Wendy, Patti and Pam; his grandchildren, Dustin Beck, Danae Walmsley, Jolan Dreyer, Tyler Wilson, Mackenzie Shmyr, Kelsey and Deni Brauer; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Kinzie, Keaton Walmsley, Dax and Avery Dreyer.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 22nd 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Memories (9813 101 St, Peace River, AB T8S1S3).
