He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Abraham Loewen and Maria Loewen (Epp); his wife Tena Knelsen; his son Edward; his grandson Shaun Neufeld; and his children, Martha (Abe), Frieda (George), Irma (Henry), Ernie (JoAnne), Kathy (Wes), Norman (Bev) and Darlene (Dan). He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
