With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ernest Skip of Peace River, Alberta, born in Foisy, Alberta, whose life came to an end on August 1, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife June; his son Barry; his parents, Anna and Peter; and his brother Edward.
He is survived by: his children, Alan (Jean), Richard and Sally; his grandchildren, Cameron Skip, Curtis Skip, Jaimie Tuininga, Holly Tuininga and Nathan Skip; and his sisters, Marion McDonagh and Norma Reinert. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local Peace River community organization of your choice, in honour of Ernie's lifelong commitment to community service.
