Laurie left this world on October 29, 2025 at the age of 66, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Kae Cox. He is survived by: his parents, George Budd and Joan Budd; his wife Cathy; his children, Amanda (John Webb), Leah (Scott Anderson), Charlotte (Shawn Forgie) and Everett (Brenda Budd); his grandchildren, Jaxon, Karys, Elijah, Corban, Cheyanne, Hazel, Everly, Violet, Avalynn, David and Jonathan; his father-in-law Keith Cox; and his siblings, Linda (Marvin Kendze), Danny (Rhonda Budd), Debra Labrentz and Colleen (Tyler Reid). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peace River Baptist Church (9813 101 St, Peace River, AB T8S 1J6).
