He was predeceased by : his parents, Margaret Plain Eagle and James Plain Eagle (Piikani People); his siblings, Judy Plain Eagle, Gary Plain Eagle, Harvey Plain Eagle, Melvin Plain Eagle, Leslie Plain Eagle and Cameron Plain Eagle; and his siblings-in-law, Nelbert Little Mustache, Stanley Small Legs, Bridgette No Chief and Brenda Pard.

He is survived by : his wife Noreen; his children, Kendall (Jessie), Mandy (Dwight), Megan and Zoey; his grandchildren, Hudson, Paisley, Emerson, Nyjah and Wyatt; his siblings, Stanford, Douglas, Calvin (Tammy), Audrey, Beverly (George), Laura Iron Shirt (Doug) and Bree Barrientos (Tyler); his siblings-in-law, Conrad Big Bull, William Big Bull (Owna), Andy Big Bull (Teresa), Wesley Big Bull (Delena), Florence, Diane Bruised Head (Steven) and Bernice Big Bull; his aunts, Catherine George and Louise English; and also, Tyrone and Denise Potts.
