She was predeceased by : her parents, Jack Hughes and Sandy Hughes; and her husband Morris McMillan. She is survived by : her former life partner Vernon Roy Lynes; her children, Charity (Ken McLeod), Monty Lynes, Kelly Lynes and Tim Lynes (Erin); her grandchildren, Connor McLeod (Noema), Hailey McLeod, Olivia Lynes, Janet-Lee Lynes, Aeriel Lynes, Crystal McMillan, Felicia Koseilny, Kayla Kaminski, Shayleen Johnson and Kyle McMillan; and her siblings, David Hughes (Amy), Tommy Hughes and Bonnie WeidenBrook.
