He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cracau and Judith Cracau; and his brother Jaap Cracau. He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth Cracau of Pincher Creek, AB; his daughter Veronique; his son-in-law Paul Hul; his grandchildren, Dominic (Kiana), Natasha (Jess) and Isabella (Connor); his great grandchild Azalea (Natasha); and his siblings, Arie (Frieda Cracau), Roger (Elly Cracau), Daan Cracau, Addy Cracau, Esther Cracau (Jaap Dekker) and Engel Dieleman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Additional memorial trees will be planted through Canadian conservation and reforestation initiatives, as a result of memorial contributions.
