He is survived by: his siblings, Elsie Thiessen (Rudy), David Bensler (Maggie), Peter Bensler (Melinda), Ernst Bensler (Suzanne), Dan Bensler (Hildegard), Art Bensler (Marylene) and Sharon Hatlelid (Len); his wife Linda; his sons, Evan (Heather), Jeremy (Pam), Timothy (Deanna), Jonathan (Melisa) and Stephen (Tanya); his foster son Joseph; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Noah, Olive, Kaylin, Alyssa, Ethan, Raquel, Eric, James, Grace, Luke, Lauren, Rebekah, Holden, Raymond, Dwayne, Justin, Daniel, Rebba and Bryer.
