She was predeceased by : her parents, Ferdinand Schmidtz and Katherine Schmidtz; her husband Tony Gross; her daughter Janet LeClaire (Raymond); her grandson Raymond LeClaire; and her brothers, Ferdinand "Ferd", Joseph, Leonard, Adolphe, Peter and Bernard "Ben".

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Clint Mayer (Tammy), Regan (Tanisa), Greg, Tony, Clinton Jr., Cheryl Schafer (Robert), Brandon Mutschler (Whitney Kerner), Brodie Mutschler (Maria Johnson), Kenneth, Shelbey, Chris LeClaire and Shelly Mayer-Brost (Randy); and also, Flower Mutschler and Darren Mutschler (Michelle).

As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Southern Alberta 340 A Maple Ave SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A 7L5.
